The Legends ice hockey team has arrived!

In their debut game since the merge of Sleepy Hollow - Irvington, the Legends ice hockey team won 3-2 in their season opener versus Pearl River.  Down 1-0 after the first period, the Legends roared back with 3 goals in the second period. Led by Brad Pesce with 2 goals, and Ryan Dennis with 1 goal and 1 assist, the Legends carried a 3-1 lead into the third period. The Legends held off Pearl River with outstanding goaltending by Dylan Lacey.  The defense, led by Craig Halprin and Brendan Chillemi, also figured in the win. The team hopes with this good start it could carry over to their home opener on Saturday night.  The Legends play Somers High School at the Westchester Skating Academy on December 9th at 9:10 pm.  We hope that you can come out and support your new Legends ice hockey team.  (posted 12/5/06)
