Sleepy Hollow High School Students Selected to Perform in All-State and NYSSMA Musical Ensembles

Sleepy Hollow High School students Melanie Gold, Kyla Moscovich and Ben Slaw were selected to perform with the New York State School Music Association, Conference for Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and Mixed Chorus.   These students prepared and performed difficult level six solos and were selected to work with students across the New York State Region.  The NYSSMA Conference brings together the best high school musicians in the state to create, learn, share and perform their talents.  This is truly a magnificent honor and accomplishment.  They will travel to Rochester, New York for NYSSMA’s  74^td annual conference to be held on December 3-6, 2009. The Sleepy Hollow Music Department would like to express how proud they are of their students and community support!! (Posted 9/13/09)
